Shea Moisture Curl Milk~~ Compliments the Smoothie very well for my hair~~
Virgin Coconut Oil~~ My hair loves this great for sealing ~~
Suave Naturals Coconut Condis~~This works but I would love to find one that's more moisturizing~~
Castor Oil~~ I apply lightly to my scalp~~
Virgin Olive Oil~~ Sometimes to seal~~~
Elasta QP conditioning shampoo~~NO Sulfates doesn't strip my hair~~

Being Patient with your Natural Hair....

I remember when I first bc'ed!! Endlessly searching the web trying to figure out why my hair was so darn dry and thirsty!! 7/10/10 was the day my whole life changed :) I closed myself in the bathroom and cut off all 12 inches of relaxed lifeless hair!!! I cried...I laughed...then I was calm and at peace all within a few hours!!! I felt like a ton of bricks was lifted off my shoulders!!! Now I'm almost 5 months Natural and yes the dryness has subsided all with time and Patients!!!

We must remember that Chemically Relaxing our hair endures much damage and sometimes something like a bc isn't enough to rid the scalp and new growth of the damage that relaxers causes!! So being Patient is a must when your dealing with Natural hair!! Accepting how your hair grows is also a must!! Till next time Happy Growing with Ya Girl Quisha :)

Respecting ourselves!!

It's not hard to do!!! In fact I'm very comfortable moving about the city with my backside and breast covered !! Never been fond of bearing it all why?? Attention?? I don't need any negative attention!! Yall can have that Men are annoying (sometimes )enough with showing the cheeks on my face rather then the ones I sit on...lol

So I think I've found what my hair loves ;) Shea Moisture Curl Milk and also the Curl Enhancing Smoothie with coconut oil add!!! I combined all these together for a twist...which when I was putting this in my hair OMGosh my hair melted with Happiness :) I've been sporting a Fro-Hawk for the last couple of days and decided to twist up the Fro part last night and Results are amazing!!! I decided to take down the braided sides and twist those as well with the same three products..I will be 5 months all natural dec 10th and this is the first time I've gotten these kind of results on my hair very soft and Moisturized I'll post pics later on:)

Never knew there was such a issue with relaxed/naturals en- till I embarked on my own hair journey...I'm very much blown away on how one is judged just because they chose to rock their Natural hair..smh!!! Wishes people would be accepting like our god is!! So for all those that frown at Natural hair....Don't knock it till you try it!!!!

Loving yourself is very important...If you don't love yourself how do you expect somebody else to love you??? We are our worst judges we constantly beat ourselves up about things that are meaningless like hair....I remember never stepping outside unless all hairs were in place....smh so glad I'm Al'Natural' now :)
